Klemmer Associates, LLC announced it has brokered a lease of 91,550 square feet of manufacturing space at 20 Computer Drive in Haverhill on behalf of Suffolk Advisors, a private investment advisory firm which was founded in 2002 by Ivy Freedman.  Over the past five years Suffolk has acquired over 2 million square feet of commercial property in the Massachusetts market and focuses on value added investments. The space will be occupied by Southwick Clothing who was recently purchased by Retail Brand Alliance owner of Brooks Brothers, a high-end apparel company. Southwick and Brooks Brothers have been doing business for nearly 60 years.  Klemmer worked with Tyler Ewing and Brad Spencer from Grubb & Ellis who represented Southwick Clothing in this transaction.

“Southwick’s former facility was on five floors in an outdated facility,” said Ewing.  “The move from Lawrence to Haverhill puts the company all on one level in a relatively new, state-of-the-art facility. The move still keeps more than 300 jobs in the region at a time most companies are outsourcing overseas.”
